Jonathan Buske is a native Finger Lakes New Yorker with more than 10 years of experience in merchanside and garment design, music format packaging, pre-print production and typography. His interest in design began in the 1980's with the admiration of skateboard graphics and the DIY art approach spawned in the underground music culture where he developed and hones the ethos he lives and designs by.

In 2008, he began his professional design career at Bravado International in New York City as an in-house designer where he designed merchandise for many multi-million selling artists including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and The Doors as well as numerous inspirational bands of his youth — namely Black Sabbath, Ramones, Slayer, The Misfits, Pantera, and Wu-Tang Clan.

The development of Buske Design began in 2012, acruing an honor roll of clients ranging from music veterans Sick Of It All, and Madball to Jedi Mind Tricks, and Heavy Metal Kings; clothing brands Atticus, Killers & Kings, and Pitchfork Hardwear; major labels Century Media, and Nuclear Blast to independently-run Reaper Records, and I Scream Records. Furthering his passion for music and design, 2014 brought the opportunity to design in-house for Sam Ash Music marketing in Long Island until the Fall of 2016 when Buske Design became the full-time priority.

When not behind the screen he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and rescued canine, playing and writing music with his bands, hiking, camping, traveling, and pizza.
