Jonathan Buske is a native Finger Lakes New Yorker residing in Long Island
with his beautiful wife, daughter and rescued canine.
His interest in design began in the 1980's with the admiration of skateboard graphics and the Do-It-Yourself art approach spawned in the underground music culture where he developed and honed the ethos he lives and design by to date. Much of his youth and adult life has been spent touring, playing and writing music with his bands — formerly Another Victim, Santa Sangre, The Promise, Rag Men, and Terror as well as Maximum Penalty, and Manipulate currently.
In 2008, he began his professional design career at Bravado International where he designed merchandise for many multi-million selling artists including numerous inspirational bands of his youth — namely Slayer, Black Sabbath, Metallica, NWA, and Wu-Tang Clan. A leap of faith in 2012 led to the freelance development of Buske Design until 2014 when the opportunity to design full-time for the Sam Ash Music marketing department was taken and is currently held.
